BioMarker Strategies is a tissue-based cancer diagnostics company that is developing the SnapPath™ex vivo biomarker platform to improve the treatment of cancer. This novel live tumor cell platform, which is supported with funding from the National Cancer Institute, will enable ex vivo biomarker tests designed to provide clinically actionable information to oncologists regarding targeted drug treatment selection. Ex vivo tests are not possible using current tumor processing methods that kill tumor cells immediately after a biopsy is performed.
